The father, Kinoshita Keisuke has been separated from his wife by death and has worked at the factory's dorm with his daughter ever since. A skilled craftsman at the metalworking factory, Keisuke is a man with a sunny disposition who is also the team coach for a boys' baseball team. Surrounded by his friends of the neighborhood, he has lived happily with his daughter up until today.

In Tokkan, Inoue will be playing a tax collector named Suzumiya Miki. Her role will be a complete turn from her good-natured heroine role in Ohisama. Instead, Inoue will be chasing after people who have been deliberately evading their taxes. Working with her on the drama include director Mizuda Nobuo and screenwriter Izumi Yoshihiro. Mizuda recently directed the movie Tsuna Hiichatta!, which stars Inoue, while Izumi worked with her on the drama Anmitsu Hime. Further details of her co-stars and theme song have not been released.

Temporary teacher Takenouchi Shinobu arrives as a Oji Elementary School in Osaka at the start of the new school term. When Shinobu makes her first roll call as the form teacher of Class 6/2, vice-principal Nakata Yukio appears to tell her something shocking. Fukushima Fumio, the father of her student, Tomohiro, had been murdered by someone last night. Detectives Urushizaki Susumu and Shindo Shuhei of Osaka Prefectural Police’s First Investigative Division are in charge of the case.

Through the introduction of his friend Danma Ryuji, Onizuka Eikichi, the former legendary bike gang member, visits Meishu Academy to tend to the trees in the garden as a part-time gardener. Learning that Yoshikawa Noboru, a student in teacher Fuyutsuki Azusa’s class is being bullied by Uehara Kyoko and other classmates, Onizuka befriends and saves Yoshikawa.

The naïve Kanzaki Nao and expert swindler Akiyama Shinichi have not heard anything from the LIAR GAME organization since the end of the previous game, so it seems they may have actually escaped. But Nao suddenly gets another invitation and is once again caught up in the game.
